THIRD ANNUAL CONTROLLED REMOTE VIEWING CONFERENCE

There’s still time to sign up and attend the CRV conference in El Paso. This conference is billed as a hands-on, application oriented event designed to give viewers “take home skills.” It will be held in El Paso, Texas May 4-6, 2001.

Lyn Buchanan has put together quite a program:

“Do’s and Don'ts of Dealing with Police Department”
Deputy Sheriff Ferenc Zana has 15 years of experience as a policeman, and is also a post-advanced student of CRV. Zana says remote viewing “does not get any more serious than working operational cases and solving actual crimes of importance. Any involvement with a police agency means that the project is operational, ergo success will have real life ramifications for people, which could involve prison time.” The seminar will focus on how to task sessions, how to analyze the data, and tips for remote viewers on working with law enforcement.

Using CRV for Corporate Intelligence
David Edmonds is Corporate Intelligence Director for Cognisense, Inc. He originally trained with David Morehouse, and then with Lyn Buchanan. Government and the military are not the only organizations that need and employ intelligence-gathering techniques. Edmonds will discuss how CRV can be used in business for employee applicant screening, theft detection, hardware problem diagnosis, negotiation strategy and more.

Remote Influencing!
This is one subject most of the former military remote viewers tend to avoid. Lyn Buchanan will give an entire presentation on the subject. This one should be very interesting. (Maybe Lyn will give us an interview after the conference for a future issue of On Target.)

Angela Thompson Smith will give a presentation about RV in the business world, and Lyn Buchanan will give tips on how to train your friends without messing them up.

It’s certainly shaping up to be a fantastic conference. For more information visit www.crviewer.com.

HOT OFF THE PRESS

Best Evidence tells of an investigative reporter's three-year quest to uncover the best scientific evidence for ESP, psychokinesis, mental healing, ghosts and poltergeists, dowsing, mediums, near-death experiences, reincarnation, and other impossible phenomena.

A national Gallup Poll found that 93 percent of Americans believe in paranormal phenomena that science can't explain and won't accept. Chances are, you're one of them. At the dawn of the 21st century, despite being reared on Darwin, science and skepticism, people of every country and culture continue to experience paranormal phenomena that shouldn't exist.

Investigative reporter Michael Schmicker tracked down the best scientific evidence for these phenomena that refuse to disappear. No National Enquirer nonsense here. Schmicker searched through parapsychology journals and monographs; puzzled over statistics-stuffed psychokinesis studies from Princeton University and reincarnation research from the University of Virginia; read through 140 books from the 1894 classic ghost study Phantasms of the Living to a 1999 study of near-death and out-of-body experiences in the blind, Mindsight; discovered surprising endorsements of psychic research from Freud and Jung, Arthur Conan Doyle and Michael Crichton, Einstein and astronaut Edgar Mitchell; tracked fiery academic debates on the Internet; exchanged email with poltergeist hunters; and even spent an evening at a mind-bending, spoon-bending party in Nevada. Angela Thompson Smith’s new book, Diary of an Abduction has just been published by Hampton Roads Publishing Company. The book details the author’s alien abduction experiences. Angela Thompson Smith owns and manages REMOTE VIEWING CONSULTING, LLC, which conducts research into remote viewing. She holds advanced degrees in psychology and is a research psychologist with an extensive background in medical and behavioral research. For information on ordering the book, contact: www.hrpub.com.

That’s the news for this month. Information about remote viewers and RV organizations should be sent to the editor, Dick Allgire.
