The cracked pot

Love this - I hope you do too.

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck..

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full..

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one

I for one detest all those surveys that are sent around requesting you to answer questions in an effort to get to know each other better. But, on two other boards that I'm on, there is a standing thread for nothing but music. One board the thread is "What are you listening to right now" and on the other board it's called "The Song Game"

Anyone interested in starting that kind of thread here? We can just keep it in the blog to keep it off of official discussion.

Physical beings

As expected, after pulling an unpleasant emotion train, there are physical repercussions. I was 'shouldering' this train all week and now I have spasms right in my neck/shoulder area.

I will exercise them out, but I am using medications now where I did not have them in the past.

But, I use the medication so that I can manage the physical issue that I now have as the result of a bad emotional week.

Course of Miracles Group

It is just so nice to be back with Course of Miracles group. Reading aloud in a group and group discussion is just so much better than getting stuck trying to pull emotional trains all by yourself. You get out of your own head better.

Everyone has 'issues' and we all have a self that collects everyone of them. An 'issue' on personal attacks was inadvertantly set off by someone who never intended their question to upset me so. I automatically started pulling that whole train.
