From the book “Roughneck Nine-One: The Extraordinary Story of a Special Forces A-team at War,” by Sgt. First Class Frank Antenori.

Page 112. (He is describing the A-team setting up at the onset of the Iraq war, just prior to engaging the enemy.)

“Tom (Master Sgt. Tom Sandoval) also told us he’d been able to obtain some critical information in a way that is typical of SF, which meant it was from the kind of source that conventional forces would seldom rely on, or even bother with at all.”
